Access to the Gwinnett Campus
Standard operating hours of the UGA Lobby and classrooms are:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 10:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Sunday: CLOSED
The Gwinnett Campus is closed on all UGA celebrated holidays and may announce closings during inclement weather that causes unsafe travel to the Gwinnett location. The campus may modify staffing hours during finals week and semester breaks depending upon scheduled events. Security guards are on site Monday – Saturday. IT and facility staff are either physically on site or on call.
Animals on Campus
Animals are prohibited inside all campus facilities, except in areas where academic pursuits require presence (e.g., animal science, veterinary medicine, etc.) or in cases where the animal serves a disabled person (e.g., guide dogs).
Campus Closings
Information on campus closing due to holidays or emergencies is reported on the UGA Gwinnett website, the UGA Gwinnett Facebook page, and/or on metro-Atlanta radio and television stations. Schedule changes or cancellations on the UGA main campus do not necessarily mean that UGA Gwinnett Campus classes are canceled or affected. Individual class cancellations are not reported to UGA Gwinnett staff and are not announced on the website.

Georgia Tobacco-Free Policy
The University of Georgia Gwinnett Campus is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and amicable environment for all students, employees, and persons visiting the Gwinnett Campus. The Gwinnett Campus follows the University System of Georgia’s Tobacco and Smoke-Free Policy.
Parking
Parking is free and is available on the north and south sides of the Intellicenter Building. Parking is shared by UGA program participants and other building tenants. No parking decal is needed.

Unattended Children Policy
Children under age 16 may not be left without adult supervision at any time. If unattended children are identified, the adult responsible for them will be asked to leave their class or meeting to attend to them. Children may not attend classes without the express approval of the course instructor.
