The UGA Gwinnett Campus recently served as the backdrop for the Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy Graduate Student Network (LEAP GSN) Spring Research Symposium. Held on Saturday, Feb. 7, the event brought together a community dedicated to the mission of advancing adult education and lifelong learning.
The day was characterized by high-level engagement, featuring:
- Thoughtful Research Presentations: Showcasing the latest student scholarship.
- Experiential Facilitation: Moving beyond standard lectures into hands-on learning.
- Strategic Networking: Connecting graduate students across various cohorts and disciplines.
Dr. Kathy Roulston, Department Head, officially opened the symposium, with LLOD faculty members present throughout the day to facilitate discussions and mentor student presenters. The event underscored UGA Gwinnett’s commitment to providing a space where academic theory meets professional practice.
