Overview

The four-semester program at our Gwinnett campus prepares you for a role in educational leadership through hands-on projects and a school residency embedded within the coursework.

Curriculum & Courses

As part of your coursework, you’ll take classes covering:

  • Education law and ethics
  • Leadership and education politics
  • Managing and using data to improve schools
  • Education politics and relationships among school boards, superintendents, and other school leaders

Over the course of four semesters and 30 hours, you’ll complete:

  • One research course in data management and analysis
  • An optional prospectus development course to provide you feedback on progress toward your final project
  • Supervised residency experiences at a local school where you shadow a designated school leader
  • A capstone project applying what you have learned

Application

Applications are accepted only for spring semester admission. Applicants must submit valid (within the past five years) GRE or MAT scores with their Graduate School application.

Also while completing the Graduate School application, be sure to attach the following documents:

  • Resume/CV
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Official transcripts

Applications are due November 1 for Spring semester admission.
