DrPH Lunch-and-Learn: Explore the Agile Clinical Trials (ACT) Training Program

The UGA Doctor of Public Health Program is hosting a lunch-and-learn session about the Agile Clinical Trials (ACT) Training Program on Tuesday, March 24, noon-1 pm, in Room 140, UGA Gwinnett Campus (2530 Sever Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30043). Boxed lunches will be provided.

The Agile Clinical Trials (ACT) Training Program is a 16-week program designed to train Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and graduates of Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Associate’s programs to become proficient in clinical research.

THE PROGRAM IS OFFERED AT NO COST AND WILL PROVIDE REIMBURSEMENT FOR SELECT PARTICIPATION EXPENSES DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE PROGRAM. 

Program Highlights: 

  • Dates: May 11 – August 28, 2026 
  • Location: Morehouse School of Medicine & Grady Hospital, Atlanta, GA 
  • Format: Digital courses + clinical practicums 
  • Certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Agile Clinical Trials 

Who Should Apply: 

  • Nurses (RNs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs) 
  • Graduates in Biology, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences (Senior college students are also eligible to apply)

Application Deadline:  March 25, 2026 (rolling review, early submission encouraged)
